Broga Movement

7 East Avenue, Whangaparaoa
Whangaparaoa
Area: Hibiscus Coast
Back friendly Yoga for beginner males, now open to females too on Sunday mornings.

Classes at Whangaparaoa Hall - Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Sundays

To attend Broga, please bring a yoga mat, a yoga block / thick towel (if not possible we have a few spare mats and blocks so arrive early!) and money to make your Koha (some people ask so the suggested amount is $10). Door opens at 17:45 so you can arrive prior and then settle in for an hour of yoga from 18:00-19:00. Broga is in the Supper Room which is accessed to the left of the main entrance.

Broga is here to give men new to yoga the opportunity to access the numerous benefits of a mindful yoga practice. Well balanced sessions flow through a warm up, an energetic phase, then a cool down and short guided meditation. It's the perfect introduction for guys who have been told yoga would help their back, but who are a bit self-conscious about donning neon lycra and getting an instagram account.

This will help to unlock the pelvis, release the lower back and shoulders, deepen the breath, invigorate bloodflow, stimulating beneficial chemicals and improving the overall posture and mood. It’s the ideal way to do something for yourself and will improve your life in ways you can't imagine, plus it's a practice, so you can't do wrong - unless you force through any pain.

I am looking forwards to seeing you and helping you start on the yoga path, Nameste!
