- Activity: Gather beneath the stars for an outdoor evening of community waiata (singing) led by an MC who will teach the songs. Songbooks are provided, and the singing is followed by kai and a chance to connect with the community.

- I Love Takapuna Matariki Market

- Activity: A boutique market with a distinct Kiwi and Matariki theme. Enjoy live music, performances, and free workshops throughout the day, including activities like painting the nine stars of Matariki and creating your own Matariki star.

- Venue: Te Herenga Waka o Orewa Marae
- Activity: A community planting day run by Restore Hibiscus & Bays to help restore the marae grounds, riverbank, and awa. Tools, guidance, morning tea, and hot drinks are provided.
