For first-timers and absolute beginners, our Beginner’s Area features a 70m ski mat, perfect for getting started. If you’re new to skiing or snowboarding or unsure of your abilities, we strongly recommend booking a lesson to build your confidence.
Feeling confident on the snow? Hop on the Poma lift and head to the top!
For advanced riders and jibbers, our terrain park offers ever-changing challenges, with updates every three to five weeks. Be sure to check out our upcoming terrain park plans!

We’ve heard how much you enjoyed Rippers and Riders and we’re thrilled you shared your feedback with us! Many of you asked for more flexibility, as Tuesdays and Fridays didn’t work for everyone. So, we’re making it easier to join the fun with five different training days to choose from, including a weekend option! Now you have more opportunities to hit the slopes on the days that work best for you.
The Rip 'n' Ride Academy is perfect for skiers and snowboarders of all levels, from beginners to advanced riders looking to improve. Whether you're aiming to build confidence, fine-tune your technique, or get started on our freestyle or race programs.

Offering a typical Kiwi community beachside atmosphere, Orewa is home to boutique art galleries, studios, shops and a vibrant and busy alfresco dining hub with menus and styles to suit all tastes.
With it's unmistakable beautiful 3 km long beach providing a safe environment for lazy beach days or those keen on water sports including kayaking, SUP boarding, wind surfing, kite surfing, board surfing or jet ski-ing.
Get around the town centre by hiring a 4 or 6 seater buddy bike, or a single or tandem bicycle and ride along the beach front or through the maze of walkways around the town.
Otherwise enjoy the lovely 7 km long walk/cycleway around Orewa Estuary which winds round the estuary edge. A family friendly and popular activity for cyclists of all ages. The Millennium Walkway along the water edge, or the Eaves Bush walks are also accessible from the town centre.
